Light Inside the Darkness

As the light falls through an open window
The darkness in my heart resurfaces, when the sun’s gone down and the moon
rises, I fail to sleep and the hearts beat misses, I seek my clear passage
through the moons gaze, as my mind clears itself from it’s maze, the whole world
sleeps and I move toward the sky, blissful air, clean and crisp, no one there to be
cruel or mean, alone in the dark of the hidden moon, there comes a sound of my
own voice, calling for peace, seeking my truest choice, at last I’m sleeping, night
has gone, and no one heard my questioning song, again I’ll sleep the same
every day, dancing alone to my own tune, under the glow of the bright, white,
moon.
