Light In the Dark

Distance and longing
Worry and fear

How much longer,
must I live without you here

Your face haunts my dreams
I still hear your voice

Why did you give up so soon
Was there not another choice

Those of us you loved
Pray you're watching from above

Had I known of your fight,
Maybe I could have been your light

This is very thought provoking! I think the last stanza is very effective at driving the whole thing home. I appreciate its simplicity and clear, honest emotion.
