Light In Darkness

Silence speaks every time I want to hear
Energy growing as I hold it near
I see the light, but I can’t see the way
It’s in this thought, the shadows play

There’s nothing left
Only this broken mind
There’s nothing here
Just a rhyme

I’ll riddle you
As you riddle me
If it gets me through
I’ll never be

Torn apart, hiding in between
The darkness preys on me
I run for light, but I’m caught in the fear
The light will fade away

Whatever I am
Whatever I will be
Gone again
I hope I never see

Bloody skies, Angels screaming out
Demons selling lies we believe
Bloody eyes, taken in birth
I would decide, but at what cost?

I look again
What did I just see?
Happy smiles
Happy beliefs

I fall to sleep
Darkness and dreams
Happy lies
Happy relief’s
