Light

hold up the light and send
shivers down the spines of cloaked assassins
let out a sigh and and tell
the light of its purpose, its fated existence

give up your place and let
the light of its own will start ascending
hang on bated breath and watch
as it folds into daggers, not breaking but bending

keep up therouse and smile
while holding the blade, the light so tightly
let the light do its work and lunge
let it shine on the killer and the truth so brightly

lay down your weapon and breathe
its time to stay calm and keep your senses
hide in shadow, hold your light and wait
for killers don't die they just change focus
