Light

It appears i'm not seen in a favourable light
Did I do wrong to you? How do I make it right?
My beliefs caused much grief, though they were my own
Silent beef, showing teeth when I grab a microphone
Frenemies it seems i've amassed a many
I'd be rich if you only gave me one penny
For every hateful thought, brought against my very being
You've been blinded, one sided and not really seeing
My true nature is pure, and i'm damn sure
That given a chance you'd see that i'm cured
The wicked tongue that I sprung and stung so many times
Have brung blackened lungs and I've hung wicked rhymes
A cleansing of the soul, with me in control
All the the bits and bites regenerate me as a whole
Don't need to feed on God's word to know what is right
Human nature does it's job, shows the light though its night
