Life's Treasures

The last drops of a drink
crumbs of cake on a plate
  The olive in the martini
    lone blueberry left to fate

Shan't we save them for posterity
morsels and sips to treasure ~
  Or rather down them callously
    for the slightest second's pleasure

That's a good question, Gershon. And pondering it sure gave me pleasure! :D
