Life’s Storms

In the silence of life, there are many battles to fight,
as we walk through the darkness, searching for the light.
Thoughts, feelings and emotions, a life from the past,
hurt, anger and depression, the shadows that they cast.
Those who face these things, in the truth of their heart,
shall find true life, as they do their part.
There are storms brewing, inside of you and me,
thoughts feelings and emotions, the darkness that they be.
Anger, hurt, and frustration, twirls deep down inside,
as the darkness grows, with us it does abide.
As it builds inside the heart, the pressure rises to,
now, a storm breaks out, makes a wreck of you.
Those thoughts, feelings, and emotions, how they fill the air,
how they affect you, makes you not to care.
 Out it comes like darkness,
destruction is it’s path,
those thoughts, feelings, and emotions, how they’re filled with wrath.
With our words of judgment, we speak then from the heart,
as our world starts crumbling, falling all apart.
To face those thing’s with the truth, it’s easier said than done,
and you’ll find it’s to late, once the storms begun.
When the storm is over, the regrets start pouring in,
as we set in depression, will we ever win.
And as we cast our judgments, we open up our door,
where the storms are fueled, as we’re making more.
