Lifes Sensations

I have a very strong feeling That something good will happen today I’m always on the lookout For good news to start my day. The clouds are picturesque The sky is clear and blue There is no ozone in the air I feel refreshed and new. The flowers are full in bloom And butterflies fill the air The birds are busy chirping Flying without a care. A hummingbird is gathering nectar To feed her hungry brood The bees are collecting pollen To make the honey so good. I lay down in the tall, soft grass And smell the fresh, clean air To have a day so wonderful Is truly something rare. It’s then I start to contemplate And think deep thoughts with ease And listen to the wind Whooshing through the trees. The feeling I had hoped to feel Had to be this day To enjoy as long as possible Tomorrow is far far away.
