Life's Race

Life’s race is almost run.
Or has it just begun?
The finish line is in sight
This brings much delight.

When the first phase is done,
There’s another to be run.
The first is preparation
For the one with eternal duration.

It’s only during the first
You can choose better over worst.
So make choices that are right
For a finish that is bright.
