Lifes Own Battle

I never wanted a battle I only wanted a better life to cuddle Curse you old world For you brought to my door steps war Weaker my people never were But now, like tridax they're weary in the air You cut out their tongues of truth And forced them to eat a lying fruit They fought this war never prepared And it caused them a damage beyond repair Far from reach is their peace Their love is but broken into pieces Your war pills are bitter They made my people weaker Some you made slaves And for others you built mass graves.
