Lifes New Direction
Life’s New Direction

Our days have now taken an entirely new direction,
each day comes with angst, without much elation.
Fear and anxiety are changing future’s complexion,
I pray that this pandemic will soon come to cessation.
In Hospitals and Nursing Homes so many are dying,
and our economy is stymied because of this vile thing.
To new rules, many are now reluctantly complying,
bolstered by their faith in what tomorrow will bring.
Government promulgates rules injecting fear each day,
our way of life has changed as we stay at home bored.
Those who believe it’s a hoax, with their life might pay,
by ignoring the facts while continuing to horde.
The media paints daily pictures of where we’re headed,
we’re inundated with news, without desire to hear.
COVID-19 virus has become the worlds most dreaded,
only God can cause its presence to suddenly disappear.
