Life's Misery

LIFE'S MISERY

Forgetting the past
Is the hardest thing to do
Leaving someone I truly love
Is the last thing I would do

Life is full of surprises
Love is mystical 
Life bears broken promises
Love can be magical

Love is beautiful as it is
So let this be
Pain is hard as it is
How can this be

Saying goodbye 
To the person I love most
Is the worst goodbye
That I can be so lost

If goodbye is serenity
Heart and mind must tend
Love is the enemy
In this life's misery to end
