Life's Lessons
We live our lives day by day
By the choices we make
Rather it's good ones or bad ones
We have all made mistakes
Some more than others
And some not
I know I have my share of them
And I can tell you it was a lot
These mistakes we've made
Were made over and over again
I know I did and you did too
But why, we can't explain
Some of us have learned our lesson
And well, you know some have not
I know I have
And that's something I have not forgot
The lessons we learn
We learn from everyday life
That's where I learned mine
And I plan on using it in my afterlife
This lesson I've learned
Was about life itself
Don't take it or people for granted
Because then you just might be by yourself
Life is not to be messed with
And that's something you should know
But just remember one more of life's lessons
You can be here today but gone tomorrow
