Life's Journey
Falling forward
with nowhere to fall
the world is spinning
going over the edge
another lost soul
Face down in an empty bottle
Reminded of every mistake
a cross no man should bear
the load is too great
Tears don't fall
everything appears to be the movies
only this one don't end
at an all time low
An old life fades
watch it hang
but can't leave it behind
trying to repair what's lost
the fire of it still burns brightly
