Life's Fountain

One day when I was alone and afraid
I heard life when it said:
“Come my child, at my fountain drink
And only of good things think.
Many souls have left their fears
At my fountain through the years.”

One day when I had lost my way
I heard life say:
“Come my child, at my fountain drink
And only of good things think.
Many souls have been returned
When at my fountain yearned.”

One day when health I was seeking
I heard life speaking:
“Come my child, at my fountain drink
And only of good things think.
Many souls have been healed
When at my fountain kneeled.”

One day with my world around me falling
I heard life calling:
“Come my child, at my fountain drink
And only of good things think.
Many souls have had strength instilled
When at my fountain filled.”
