Life's Ball Games
Whether thrown or caught,
Sometimes kicked or struck,
The fascination endures.
Great skill often adds to the
Speed or pace, as the games
Provide victorious cures.
While talent or good-fortune
Designates champions, no losers
Are seen forever in the quest.
Since the challenge lies in the
Competition, providing one's
Utmost effort, if not the best.
Regardless of one-on-one matches,
Or one team against another
In the game.
The battles seek to crown a victor,
Granting new heights towards
Fortune and fame.
