Life Without You

Lock me in the shelter of your heart
Shield me from life's poisonous dart
When my days turned dreary and bleak
Let your heart to mine truly speak

I know not what tomorrow may bring
But tonight I know the dart deep sting
Missing you so much in my heart and soul
Is like a very deep ditch fall

At night, my heart yearns for you
In the morn, these crazy things I do
Why do I dream of you night after night
When I try to forget you with all my might

Yet again my muses returned with vengeance
With you in me as if in deep seance
Again, thinking of you makes me took up my pen
And wrote sweet verses for you now and then
