Life Will Go On
when you left
without saying goodbye
I didnt know what to do with myself
whether or not to cry
You promised me a life time of happiness
a bright future
and that you would be here tomorrow
But all you could give me was a life time of sorrow
I waited around,
to hear your voice
to see your face
but then you disapeared off the earth without a trace
I spent days crying
months worrying
and a year trying to be who you wanted me to be
improving my life and being constantly happy
And now that girl,
the one i was worried about being your wife
you arent together anymore
and im wondering whether or not she will stay in your life
But i know one thing for sure,
i was waiting for that day when you broke up with her
thinking that i would be happy
but here i am in sorrow
because i cant be there with you tommorrow
to make you laugh
to make you smile
and being a shoulder to cry on.
I was happy because you were happy with her,
now that shes gone
im going to be strong
for you
and love you the way you deserve
