Life We Lived In Between

Life We Lived In Between

Found new poem existing in my next thought
And to write down wondered whether or not
If I really should so that you now could read
Which is sure to fulfil your want and need.

Write it down this instant for sure I must
Upon your mind wonderful poem will thrust
You can easily comprehend and understand
My perfect poem for you that I had planned.

Completed another voyage after we had gone
And life each day there still goes on and on
Exactly like it had when we were there before
They waited for what next God had in store.

Each poem I write always will meet a need
When you are cooking food or planting seed
Either painting picture or writing poem down
For each person who exists all over town.

While I am here what will they be doing there?
Raising a family and then trying to take care
Waiting for another member to be married
Later in womb one more baby being carried.

Precious baby appears and life starts anew
And if it hadn't been for both me and you
Life would no longer exist or live anymore
Which is why God had made us each for.

Eventually into past all of our lives will fade
After loving life while sitting in the shade
Maybe playing in park as we run around
Then we all die without a peep or sound.

Sperm and egg met without a single sound
We even later did die not making a sound
But what matters most is what we have seen
Existing in long life we lived in between.

I still have so much to learn. It is all a matter of writing more poems in a lot of cases. The more you write the more fun it becomes. Jim Horn
