Life Vine Vein

Life vine vein

Big red grapes sit on the sun bleached vines
Orange clay earth cracking crossed for thirst of rain in times
Dark green bushes from which the picture shows the lines
Trees of bright yellow lemons drape the fields surrounding and the greenest of limes
A black and brown donkey is carrying them to the market to sustain the old farmer in bread through winters decline
His white hair shows many years he has harvested with careful dedication and patience is fine
The fruits of his labour are all to see and ripened to perfection to be enjoyed by feast and dine
The time has come for the sugars of the grapes and the deep red juices to be finally tasted to drink and be merry instead of dying veins there is wine.
