Life Unplanned

I don’t know where
        this day is taking me.
Each one seems to be an unplanned surprise
with chores and tasks that need be done
or happily with distractions, put aside.
I guess I never really knew
where the months and years were going
and there is some satisfaction in not knowing.
I awoke and rose with little expectations
       and everything
       fell into place without hesitation.
I was lucky or perhaps blessed
	whichever you choose or guess.
My life moved forward simply
each day faster and more quickly.
All participants proceeded to play their parts
	and now and then
        they shared their hearts.
Now living quietly and reflecting upon each day
	I realized every one
        was an opportunity to pray.
I have few regrets or desires of redos
	for every day
was a blessing shared with you.
There are no reruns, nothing left undone
	thank you God,
thank you everyone.
