Life That I Live

Life that I live

If i could take it back I would,
why can I never do good?

like i could get locked up,
but ive never been in no hood.

                        So why should,
I waste my life like this?

                        had a few close calls,
just lucky all of them missed.

But still I have repetitive ways,
hoping I change but think I'll always be this way.

So I sit and pray, asking the lord to forgive,
for this is the life that I live.
