Life Sucks

Life sucks, you know that? You can live the best you can and still feel like a rat. You stay up for someone you care about to call, And later find out they never cared about you at all. You sit, waiting on something you expect to be great, and when it actually happens, it wasn't worth the wait. You spend your whole life trying to forget All the things you've done that you truly regret; However, no matter what you do, Those things always seem to follow you. You open up your heart and let someone in Just so you can be burned once again. You call in to work sick, just because you're tired; Next day, you find out you've just been fired. You're always trying to live for something more, Only to find it's just another closed door. You give something you're very best, And, in the end, are still no better than the rest. You can feel so happy, you just want to sing, then something happens and you lose everything. Despite these you still have to live. No matter what, your best is what you're called to give. So the best thing you can do is live life with a smile, Because, you know, life rocks every once in a while.
