Life Pointers For All Ages
Maintaining head and heart balance, live in vibrant nonchalance
Save unconditional love’s sublime appeal nothing else is real
Be honest, truthful, gentle and just and in God always trust
Be equal in both pleasure and pain, in both sunshine and rain
Only when both mind and body are healthy, are we truly wealthy
Be humble in victory and graceful in defeat, joyous and upbeat
At the end of each day, take out some time in silence to pray
Be alert and awake, playfully learning from each mistake
We will meet people, both kind and toxic, discern using logic
Free from regrets of what could have been, retain soul’s sheen
Engage zestfully in both work and play, joyous day after day
Challenges in life will appear; face everything without fear
