Life of a Leaf

Leaves are born so small and green..
They flourish in the sun and fill the sky and in between..
As time passes by the lines and colors creep in slow..
Life has taken its toll and soon they must fall and go..
Now instead of coloring the skyline they now carpet the land..
They gather in corners and blow past where we stand..
While the cold comes and the snow trickles down, the buds
will sleep and wait for a warm spring sound..

wow, this is wonderful. I can almost feel it. Like I'm there seeing the leaf, from grew to fell down and covered by snow, waiting for its spring sound.. Thanks for my placement, dear Michael :)
