Life Lesson 1

Life Lesson #1

They can slice to you like a razorblade,
cut sharper than a knife,
the deep wounds that they inflict
can hurt your heart for life.
Cruel comments said in haste,
their lingering echo’s stay,
you can’t take back what has been heard
no matter what you say.
There’s a theory to apply,
the best one I recall,
if you can’t find any nice words,
don’t say anything at all.

Wise words indeed Liz - this should be a lesson we need to learn from a very early age:-) hugs Jan xx
