Life Is Not Fair But Balanced Maybe

You ran away when I needed you the most. You conquered me and decided to boast. Life is crappy right now from A to Z. Life is not fair. But balanced? Maybe. I took a bath delighting in her warmness. Bees ignored me on walks. There was no swarmness. The day was not so bad after I’d smelled the roses. And watered the marigolds with my green hoses. She spread rumors, mostly jealous lies. I hid out, feeling my swift demise. Life is crappy right now from A to Z. Life is not fair. But balanced? Maybe. I worked on some paintings and that gave me hope. I looked out the window and knew I could cope. The beautiful trees gave me a feeling of joy. I did not have to worry about yesterday’s boy. He said some mean and nasty things right to my face That led me to believe I was not part of the race. Life is crappy right now from A to Z. Life is not fair. But balanced? Maybe. I am drawing their meanness up into cartoons. I am adding stars and witches with brooms. I am feeling lots better, my old self again. Life is not fair, but for me it’s a win.

Good one Caren! Like the repeats and the easy rhythm of it.
