Life Is Not a Nursery Rhyme

Life is not a nursery rhyme Once upon a time, not too long ago Children were safe wherever they go Playing and skipping ‘til way after dark Dancing and singing in the play park Ring-a-ring-a-rosy Where did she go, the girl with the posy? Hush-a-push-a Along came a stranger and away he usher We all fall down Raping and strangling her and Buries her underground ---------------------- Little Bo-Peep has lost her sheep Slowly behind her the psycho would creep They didn’t know where to find her The search was called off, they left it alone Everyone’s tired they all went back home Finding her mutilated body crushed with a stone ------------------------- This is the new trend, spreading like wild Taking the life of an innocent child ---------------------- Peter Peter the pumpkin eater Had a wife and up he beat her He kept her in a pumpkin shell Verbally and mentally abusing her as well Little did she know To a helpline she can go And get a restraining order So Peter Peter, the pumpkin eater Will no longer be allowed to beat her __________________ On the street corner poses little Miss Muffet Showing off her worth and strutting her tuffet Along came a driver in a brand new red spider Looking so charming and pulls up beside her And escorts Miss Muffet away _____________________ Why are we leading our young girls astray? From the tender age on nine prostituting their lives away ________________________ Little Jack Horner sells crack on the corner Along with his drug laced pie Once you’re addicted It’s so hard to fix it So don’t even give it a try He gives it on credit, and if you can’t debit Then surely a loved one will die ____________________ These are the times where we live in fear Fifty innocent children killed in less than a year! Instead we should hear their merry little laughter And live in peace forever and ever after! The End
