Life Is Just Unfair
Life is Just Unfair
You didn’t think I knew
But I felt you pull away
It is not the first time
I tried to hide dismay
It started some time ago
And I was hoping it would end
But I need to face the truth
And hope my heart will mend
You have found another
And it hurts more than I can say
But time will tell the story
And I believe you’ll rue the day
Yes I will let you go
To hold on would not be smart
You have to find the truth
Even if it breaks my heart.
Now I have to wonder
Will I ever get over you?
I don’t have the answers
They are sparse and very few
But I will mark it down
And write it with great care
In the book of my life story
A new chapter…” life Is Just Unfair”
