Life Is a Gift

It is he that created this world
Who else could make such a wonder?
With the timing of the rain and its thunder

It is he that made the mountaintop’s so tall
Where rainwater
does pour down and fall.

It is he that created man
In his own image, from his hand

And he has made man a mate
So they could live happily together
And procreate.

Yes the Lord Jesus is good and great
He gave us food from the lands
So may accelerate

But he gave us a list of commandments
In hopes we would have directions and limits

Man has moved too far too fast
He has destroyed much of this earth
in a blast.

Man has forgotten what a gift Jesus gave him
Life -
And to this his face has turned grim

With man always in battle
Behaving with a whim
Forever ,humanity shall live in sin
