There are so many things that have yet to be done Before I fall asleep when my race has been won, There are so many instances I can put right Before I can walk softly with you in the light, There’s are still many knots to take out of the rope Before I can relinquish my doubts to my hope, And though I am just human, my soul is a chain Of floral remembrances caught in the rain.
