LIFE IS

Life is a game to be won -
A challenge to be met-
A gamble you risk-
A poem to be written-
A test to be studied for
A story to be told
A character to be remembered...

If you lose the game –
learn the rules, win the next one.
If you could not meet the challenge head-on;
Sidestep it and keep going.

If you don't take a risk you
will never know your full potential.
Write that poem that’s in your heart,
see the world thru a poet's eyes.

Study and prepare for the next level.
Keep a journal, save pictures
to prove you existed.
Build your character,
become a legend in your own time.

Life is a cause to live for...
but worthy enough to die for.
If a man has nothing he'd die for –
Then he has nothing to live for.!
