Life Is
Life is a game to be won -
a challenge to be met-
A gamble you risk-
a poem to be written-
a test to be studied for--
A story to be told -
a character to be remembered...
If you lose the game-
learn the rules
win the next one,
If could not meet
the challenge head on -
sidestep it
and keep going -
If you don't take a risk you will
never know your full potential.
Write that poem thats in your heart
see the world thru a poet's eyes.
Studied and prepare for the next level.
Keep a journal, keep pictures
to prove you existed.
Build your character
become a legend in your own time.
Life is a cause to live for...
but worthy enough to die for
If a man has nothing
he'd die for--
Then he has
nothing to live for.
