Due to pandemic and policies, many find no reason to live, being robbed of friends and busyness, they are clinically depressed. A friend of ours and my nephew have taken their own lives.

I’m so sorry Kim for your personal losses, the pandemic has brought on desperate situations for millions of people worldwide prone to depression, Maybe my monoku was subconsciously sparked by the depressing situation, but was mostly a self curious scientific observation/speculation I pondered, see my reply to Tom below, I believe it’s a valid if not orthodox question to ask oneself, cheers David

I suppose if they were leading miserable lives they'd have nothing to be happy about. Tom

I’m probably pondering above my pay grade here Tom, but I’m guessing if there is more sadness or negativity within a species as a whole than happiness and contentment, it will eventually destroy itself or go extinct, scientists say the very purpose of life is to thrive and procreate, so I’m wondering if even a one percent imbalance towards the negative is a certain path to its demise, but I only had 17 syllables to get my point across, but there you go humanity is still just about hanging in I think, cheers David
