Life In Long Night
The light through me travels fast
Darkness like lust in me prolongs
My shadow on you don’t ever last
For my days are short, nights long.
I am visible for a while in the open
As a nightrider to the dark I belong
You’ll lose me as night mists deepen
For my days are short, nights long.
Reality sinks as cold sun sets it free
When dream walks it takes me along
My hands you want to hold won’t see
For my days are short, nights long.
After tormenting time breaks my mind
Under moon’s shroud I’ll sing swan song
Music of dark in your heart you won’t find
For my days are short, nights long.
