Life In General

Isn’t life a funny thing? Sometimes, it’s like you’re on top of the world; nothing can faze you. But then, other times, its like you’re lying in a pit on the side of a road in the desert or something. When you have those good times, you don’t ever even think that in two weeks, or even two hours, you could be lying in that pit. All you can think about is the fact that you’re on top of the world, and that it’s very possibly the best feeling ever. But then, when you finally fall (or get pushed) into that pit, you wonder what happened. You were just on top a minute ago, and now, here you are, on the bottom again, wondering what in the world happened to you. But I guess there’s really nothing we can do about it. I mean, nobody ever promised us that we’d be on top forever. When its happening to you, you think that nobody else ever has problems, and it always looks as though they’re all on top while you’re lying in that pit. But then, if you look around, you’ll realize that it’s not just you, it’s everyone. We all go through it, and nobody’s on the top forever. So I guess we all just have to live for those times when it’s our turn to be on top, when it’s our turn to win. We just need to keep our heads held high, and even when were on the bottom, if we act like were on top, perhaps well get there sooner.
