Life In Cyprus 2

We've got flowers and trees and Bees that sting
and quite a few other creepy crawly things,
We got rocks and weeds,a little waterfall,
And a nice place to sit and view it all.
Am I homesick for England? Not one bit,
I'm here until God says it's time to quit!

Oh, my God, Dave Now I see you're in Cyprus. I've just left this country, jobless and homeless. And God knows how much I wanted to befriend people like you. In what concerns the poem... sad, true, frank, with that metaphysical twist at/in the end. You built up a heavenly peace to deliver 'this is the end, my friend', and to frame yourself in this so 'ordinary' picture. My friendly hug, Dave. Proud to know you

Hi Che, this little ditty came from one line from a friend. ''Don't you miss UK?'' I wrote it quicker than it took to read it! Glad you like , from your comment! God Bless. D.
