Life Go,S On

She trembles all over shakes with fear As he leans towards her whispers in her ear It’s time to leave I have to go I love you darling please don’t cry She kisses his forehead and says goodbye She rests her face upon his hand as life fades away Bitter tears heavy heart now it’s time to depart The room is very quiet no knows what to say They stand in silence as she turns to walk away The bitter pill weighs heavy on her mind I hope to god she’s not inclined to take her life To be buy his side She stands in the doorway take a final glance At the man she fell in love with the man she met in France she pauses for a moment composes herself Straightens up her dress holds her head up high descends the building full of pride With obstacles to face and mountains to climb she’ll do alright yes she’ll be fine WRITTEN BY M.BURTON
