Life Goes On

I can’t describe the feeling
It just couldn’t be true
I didn’t know what lay ahead
If then I only knew

Life goes on
The world goes round
And though it won’t be soon
A new love will be found

But as for right now
My heart feels so weak
You were all that I wanted
Now it’s comfort I seek

Life goes on
At least that’s what I’m told
But it’s hard for me to hold on
Without anyone to hold

I know it will get better
But as for now it seems
As though it can’t get any worse
As if I’ve lost my dreams

Yet life goes on
The pain will subside
I’ll somehow learn to move on
My tears will someday be dried
