Life for a Short Spell
Seem to be so many in God's multitude
Sure do hope that I He does include
Guide me through Bible as I will read
Then for next poem plant a new seed.
Seed of hope and truth let each one be
While I become humble full of humility
After each deed is completed and done
Continue to know God is the Holy One.
Often wonder where God will let me go
He surely is one who always does know
And writing poems, the ability I lack
God will be willing to cut me some slack.
So writing great poems I shall strive on
Eventually one day when my life is gone
With God's help gave all things my best
Now again in heaven I shall safely rest.
Heaven all of our souls originally where
And from there to earth God did transfer
For us things are always hard to tell
Life here is only fors a short spell.
