Life Continues
The more some seek love,the more hate tries to take control,
Many seek unity,but division continues to take a toll,
While some hearts grow warm,others hearts grow cold,
While some seek spiritual upliftment,others are losing their souls,
I have been here 5 decades,I have seen many changes,
70s,80s,90s,2000,2010,now 2020,things getting worst in stages,
Now hate,anger,revenge,in the blink of an eye,the heart of men rages,
Death and destruction,has become the norm,
Vanity over human lives,just sign your name on a form,
Headstones,more headstones,decorating the lawn,
One born,one gone,still getting worst as we weather the storm...[c]
