Life As We Know
The things that we go through are crazy I know.
It seems as if we have no where to go.
no where to go and no one to turn to...
but as long as I'm around just know that I'm here for you.
We've been through so much but in God's eyes so little...
We can't seem to find common ground; we're just stuck in the middle.
Yet with all of the things that we go through each day...
We always find it in our hearts to laugh just a little and find something crazy to say.
As I sit and reminisce on the things that we've done...
We've been through hard times but we've also had fun.
Remember all the parties and all the fights we got into?
Remember all the places he said he couldn't take us to?
And do you remember when we'd get mad over little things that didn't really matter?
We wouldn't talk that whole day but the next we'd be joking about who was fatter.
Remember when we'd laugh so hard until we both cried?
Remember when we'd we scheme together just to come up with a lie?
With all of the good memories: some were good and some were bad.
We must keep in mind that we have to live our lives to the fullest cause time really flies.
We're crazy together; kind of like sisters and much like best friends...
Some will come and go but I'll be here til' the end.
So just keep in your mind whenever you feel down,
No matter how far the distance and how far it sounds...
I'm always a phone call or just a flight away.
And even if I'm far away; just remember that I'm here to stay.
