Life As An Addict
Life as an Addict
Life as an addict, life as an addict
Life as an addict is like running into
A reinforce cinderblock wall
Losses after losses
Virtually
Ending in a jail cell or luxurious casket
Day after day the addiction keeps at it
Eventually
Opening doors to the soul
Stepping inside leading you down
A wicked and dark passage
Ultimately
Leaving you naked
Clinching your wounds
Shattering dreams
Low self – esteem
Thoughts in captivity
Life of misery
Life as an addict limited imagination
Waste of God’s creation
But forgiven
Evil, dark passage
Reinforce walls, jail cell
Lost soul, luxurious casket
Life as an addict, life as an addict
Life as an addict.
