Life and Friends Idioms
Life & Friends Idioms

We know “Life consists in what a man is thinking of all day”.
And his words and actions will his thoughts betray
“Life isn`t hard to manage, when you`ve nothing to lose”
To live it Godly or in sin, it’s you who will choose.
“There are three true friends: an old wife, an old dog and cash.”
But many times wives are most friendly with the stash.
If you’ve more than three friends, you “Have it made in the shade”
And it bears out the saying “Friends are born, not made”.
“One loyal friend is worth ten thousand relatives,” or perhaps not,
But relay that to a relative, and you’ll “stir the pot”
“A friend is one who has the same enemies as you have” some concur,
But using other criteria to bind us, I generally prefer.
My Friend, “He Was Big Enough To Go Bear Hunting With a Switch”
And when he opens his mouth you’re engrossed in his sales pitch.
He often uses the saying “A Penny Saved Is A Penny Earned”
And is quick to tell you, “If You Play With Fire You Get Burned”
“Only when we come to the end, we decide whether the path was correct”.
But in judgment, only God, decides if our path was flecked;
