Not much worse can happen to (some) women, I imagine. It seems this way from my (limited) experience, anyway. (Only been married twice so far; lol). ~ gw

Sad but good poem. I like that "she" and "lonely are isolated words; and later on "now"; indicating her isolation, and the now seems to last forever. Thank you.
