Life After Life

I WANTED TO BE A POET ALL OF MY LIFE.
BUT THEN I GOT INVOLVED WITH TROUBLE AND STRIFE.
I WISH I KNEW THEN WHAT I KNOW NOW AS I WOULD NOT ONLY SCREAM BUT I WOULD
SHOUT.
I WANT TO TELL THE WORLD JUST WHAT IS GOING WRONG.
BUT OUR KIDS ONLY LISTEN WHEN THEY HEAR IT IN A SONG.
WHY WONT THEY LISTEN TO WHAT WE HAVE TO SAY
I QUESS THEY WILL LEARN BY DOING THINGS THEIR WAY.
I WAS NOT EDUCATED OR NEVER WENT TO SCHOOL.
THATS WHY YOU NEED A TOUGH HAND, A HAND TO RULE.
MY PARENTS WOULD WORK THEN GO TO DRINK.
DID THEY TAKE THE TIME TO REALLY THINK.
MY PARENTS ARE DEAD AND NOW THEIR GONE.
I WONDER WHAT THEY THINK NOW I AM NOT SO WRONG.
