Life Abandoned Me
In this cold wintery night,
I am falling apart,
Blood is all around me,
When I am lying here,
With a broken heart.
The pain is harsh,
The moan is low,
The floor is cold,
Chilling me from head to toe.
The life I loved so much,
Is abandoning me here,
Alone I am lying,
Death standing with me near.
I can sight angels,
With arms open wide,
And a smile on face,
But still I cried.
The pain is too much,
Cannot stand it now,
I'm shouting in agony,
Maybe its time to bow,
Before death.
I am bleeding my grief,
And I am fragile,
I want this to be a relief,
But it is futile.
But now it is too late,
The world which was shining once,
Is now darkening,
There is nothing except silence.
And now I am going down,
And down,
And down.
