Life a Unit of Time

"Another day for me,
Not finding what I want to see

For I am looking for life,
But what is it like?

Life is unit of time,
Another persons or mine

I could know nothing about,
Or so much I would shout

How do you define,
All that life combines

To make it more than a period of time,
But a mosaic of dreams and emotions that are mine

Which are the ones most important to me,
Am I blind to the ones I should see?

Have I already decided my life,
When I took that left turn instead of right?

Will the results be the same when I get to the end,
Will it be what God did intend?

So many questions that need no answers,
For our lives are stitches of chances

A patchwork of events,
That give our life content

Driven to make us who we are,
As we look to our North Star

For our compass is hope,
To navigate life’s slippery slope

Because without hope we are nothing,
With it we can see everything"
