Life - a Journey

A long winding path,
With twists and turns,
Suffer the wrath,
Of feelings which churn.

Decisions to make,
Courage to collect,
Emotions at stake,
Life cannot ressurect.

Impossible to predict,
The many ups and downs,
When to reach the summit,
Where joy merrily crowns.

During its glorious course,
A difficult choice to make,
The main path splits and forks,
Which is the path to take?

One road lies well trodden,
The other is less walked upon,
The first may not be a burden,
The other will greatness spawn.

Ultimately the choice is yours,
Which path to follow, and how to go,
The easy way out reassures,
But the harder will glory bestow.
