Life

this could all go down
before you turn your head
from overalls to wedding gowns
take the time before you wake up dead
life’s not as bad as you make it
make it your own before you break it
Let it flow from the heart
Every end needs a start
Smile for time had and yet to be
No more crying “why me?”
it all looks bad before the good
it all looks like maybe you should
give up before you time
life is like a poem without the rhymes
it doesn’t make sense till you get to the end
your the author of this poem of life
so grab a pen and make it right
